Linda Ingram was a mother of 6 children, a spiritual mom, friend, & mentor to many others. Her knowledge, patience, and faith made her the most extraordinary mother. She was the light of our family, loved to stay healthy and fit, and danced her way through life. She selflessly dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. In 2015, our Linda was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. As devastating as this news was, her children and family were determined to get through it. She underwent chemotherapy & was in remission soon after. Best news ever. October of 2018, Linda chose to drive out the darkness of cancer at the Light the Night event with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  During this walk survivors, families who have lost loved ones, and supporters gather to walk with lanterns, share stories, and support one another. Linda was so overwhelmed to have had her story of beating leukemia told at the Light the Night Walk. Unfortunately in 2019, Linda’s CLL came back with more aggression. July 28, 2020, Linda, our mother, ended her battle with leukemia. In remembrance and honor of Linda Ingram, we would be more than grateful for any donations proceeding towards Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Light the Night. Many of us have lost or experienced a loved one with cancer. We must do what we can to support others suffering & most importantly find a way to end cancer.
